Welcome to the Washburn Area Dollars for Scholars website, serving the Washburn, North Dakota area.
The class of 2019 received scholarships totaling $20,250.
The scholarships were funded by the help of our wonderful community and local business partners!
Our Mission:
The Washburn Area Dollars for Scholars promotes educational achievement, personal growth and career preparation while providing scholarship awards to area youth.
Our Core Values:
- We exist to change people's lives through education. An educated citizenry and workforce is crucial to the future of a strong democratic nation and a more peaceful world.
- We exist to serve new graduates and alumni fulfill their educational goals through post-secondary scholarships.

- Collaboration is recognized as critical to growth. We work with post-secondary education institutions and other related programs to make scholarship opportunities available to North Dakota students thereby reducing their education debt.

- Providing leadership to develop and support a network of community-based scholarship organizations across the state.
- Encourage Philanthropy for local students and to support their attendance at all types of post-secondary education.
- Increase scholarship opportunities at the state and national levels through programs such as Collegiate Partners and Community Service Awards.
